Hi, I’m Scott Shreve!
I founded Sweet Olive Press for independent authors, like myself, to publish their books and have their voices and messages heard.
Sweet Olive Press mainly focuses on Children’s books and Christian nonfiction/fiction, but also publishes historical pieces including public domain works and genealogies.
The name derived from two concepts:
Sweet Olive is from a street where my wife and I rented our first home together.
Press is often found in publisher names and it symbolizes olive presses—prominent throughout Hebrew culture and the Bible.
